Hello, in this blog I am going to provide you with a lot of useful Photoshop tutorials. I will include Text and Video tutorials. But I am not going to write the tuts myself. I will search for good tutorials from other tutorial pages and copy/paste it here, and will include the URL of each site in each post, so you can visit that site, too. This is just to provide you with really good tutorials from thousands and thousands that are available, and to support those tutorial sites.
If you have a good quality tutorial and want to add it here in this blog just contact me and give your Site-URL where your tutorial is located, and I will add it here.

Shiny ball abstract wallpaper

In this adobe photoshop tutorial we will do some freestyle to make a funky wallpaper nice and easy.

First set the foreground and background color to a light and dark green, then go to filter -> render -> clouds

Select the background layer, then go to image -> adjustments -> levels and drag all three handles a bit to the right as I did below.

Go to filter -> filter gallery and locate the filter called Fresco and give it settings as I did below.

Then go to filter -> blur -> radial blur and blur it like below.

Again go to filter -> filters gallery -> locate the filter called Glowing edges and give it settings like below.

Final touch for the background is to go to filters -> render -> lightning effect and set it like below.

Now lets make the shiny ball, so first with the elliptical selection tool draw a circle and fill it with a default color (we will change it later).

Then find an abstract brush from the brush tool, and draw it in the same layer as the ellipse like I did below.

Double click the layer to get into the layers styles panel and give it settings like below.

Try to be creative with the gradient colors.

Now lets make those small glossy spots on the ball that makes the ball interesting..

So make a gradient going from white to transparent, with the gradient tool choose radial gradient mode and drag a small gradient out (just 1 or 2 pixels dragging).

Now make a elliptical selection like a did below, also fill this with the same gradient like the one we just did.

Then go to filters -> blur -> gaussian blur and blur it about 1 pixel.

Repeat this step for the top right corner glossy effect and you should end up with a glossy ball like the one below.

I got a bit creative with the colors and made a purple to red ball...
