In this Adobe Photoshop tutorials you will see how to make a stylish cheese text effect.
First we will start by typing in the text we want to apply this effect to. I found a quite good text font called "Goudy Stout". Now remember to make the text nice and big.
In the layers panel right click the text layer and choose rasterize layer.
Zoom a bit closer to the text, and with the elliptical selection tool select and hit delete a couple of places on each letter as shown below.
Now your text should look quite funny like this one.
In the layers panel double click the text layer to get to the layers styles panel and give it settings as shown below.
Now make a new layer above the text layer and name it "holes". Then with the elliptical selection tool, use "add to selection" mode and draw selection part over the text as shown below.
Hold down shift and hit backspace, fill the selections with white. (we will change this later).
Now double click the holes layer to get to the styles panel and give it settings as shown below.
Locate the blending modes, its a roll down menu just above the layers panel, and set it to mulitply.
Thats it, you have made your own cheese text in Photoshop.
