Hello, in this blog I am going to provide you with a lot of useful Photoshop tutorials. I will include Text and Video tutorials. But I am not going to write the tuts myself. I will search for good tutorials from other tutorial pages and copy/paste it here, and will include the URL of each site in each post, so you can visit that site, too. This is just to provide you with really good tutorials from thousands and thousands that are available, and to support those tutorial sites.
If you have a good quality tutorial and want to add it here in this blog just contact me and give your Site-URL where your tutorial is located, and I will add it here.

This Tutorial is From Ljudkort.net

Start off by creating a new document. I used size 500 px x 150 px

Then add a black background, and the text you want - A fat text like the one I use gives the best effect:

Now duplicate the textlayer:

Select the first text layer:

And add Filter - Stylize - Wind

Accept!

Select From the left, then press OK. Repeat this step, but use "From the right" instead once more.

The result of this action should look like this:

Now rotate the canvas as in the image:

Then perform the "Wind" step again, just as you did earlier.

Then rotate it back once this is done, as in the image:

Now select the copied layer again:

And add these layerstyles:

Create a new layer:

Now make a selection like in the image, and then fill this with white, opacity 30%:

Then select the copied layer again:

Select everything but the text using the magic wand - NOTE SPACES INSIDE THE LETTERS!

Then select the previous layer again, and press delete to remove all the white outside the text:

Now duplicate the layer that you modified with wind to get a heavier effect on it:

Now you should have a result somewhat like this!
